Engage- Renewable and Non- Renewable energy
Renewable energy is energy that can be replenished or replaced easily. It comes from natural sources that are constantly being replenished, like the sun, wind, and water. We can use renewable energy to power our homes, cars, and even entire cities without running out.
Nonrenewable energy is energy that comes from sources that are limited, or that will eventually run out. It comes from things like coal, oil, and natural gas, which are found underground and take millions of years to form. We use nonrenewable energy to power many of the things we use every day, but because it’s limited, we have to be careful about how much we use.
Using renewable energy is important because it helps us take care of our planet and reduce our impact on the environment. It also helps us reduce our dependence on nonrenewable energy sources, which will eventually run out. Some examples of renewable energy sources include solar panels, wind turbines, and hydroelectric dams. Nonrenewable energy sources include coal, oil, and natural gas.
