Explain- Angles and Ratios
Six main trigonometric ratios
So, we saw how angles and sides are absolutely necessary to complete a triangle and how we can use that triangle to understand heights, angles and distances.
Below are some standard ratios that are used in trigonometry:
Full forms and short forms of trigonometric ratios-
- Sine (sin)
- Cosine (cos)
- Tangent (tan)
- Cosecant (cosec/csc)
- Secant (sec)
- Cotangent (cot)
